The flowers are visual LifeWishes, symbols of the beauty that can blossom in each of us. My desire is to express the beauty of form and color that I see. I believe that the beauty that people see is within them.
Flowers fascinate me because of their sensuousness, the brilliance with which they bloom and the power of their essence. By taking a picture and adding to it with my own uniqueness I bring it into something which lasts.
For my entire life color has been a passion and a love. I pot, I paint, I draw, I make collages. Never has anything that I do brought me the kind of sheer exhilaration and thrill of the flowers. It’s like being able to take all the things I’ve seen, enjoyed, loved and learned in my life up until now and put it all into a package that expresses a deep, deep feeling.
